This Privacy Policy describes how Still Here ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Sahaj Tech LLC, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at stillherehq.com and our mobile application Still Here (collectively, the "Service").

• Profile information: Your name, phone number, and time zone preferences.
• Emergency contacts: Names, phone numbers, and relationship type of people you designate as emergency contacts.
• Device tokens: Push notification tokens from your device to deliver check-in reminders.

Information collected automatically:

• Check-in data: Timestamps of your daily check-in confirmations and any escalations that occurred.
• Device information: Device type and browser information for service compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the daily check-in Service.
• Send push notifications and SMS messages as part of the check-in and escalation process.
• Contact your emergency contacts via SMS and phone calls if you fail to check in.
• Contact emergency services on your behalf as a last resort (only if configured by you).
• Communicate with you about your account, the Service, and safety-critical alerts.
• Improve and troubleshoot the Service.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Emergency contacts: With people you have designated as emergency contacts, for the purpose of notifying them when you fail to check in.
• Emergency services: With emergency services (e.g., 911) via pre-recorded voice calls, only as a last resort in the escalation chain and only if you have explicitly enabled this feature.
• Service providers: With third-party services that help us operate the Service, including Twilio (for SMS and voice calls), Firebase (for push notifications), and our hosting provider. These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plaintext. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Check-in history and escalation events are retained for 90 days. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Object to or restrict processing of your information.
